Joe Evans was the Distinguished Graduate for Electrical Engineering at the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1976. He subsequently received his MSEE from Leland Stanford University in 1982. He founded Radiant Technologies in 1988. Radiant is now the world’s leading manufacturer for ferroelectric test equipment which measures ferroelectric, piezoelectric, pyroelectric, and magneto-electric properties of non-linear materials. Radiant fabricates its own thin-ferroelectric-film capacitors which are used inside its testers as reference devices and in discrete memory circuits. Radiant’s strategic goal is to establish ferroelectric technology as part of the tool kit for all electrical engineers!
